Marx’s Model of Capitalism

This is a Reaction Memo from my Social Inequality class which I am sharing because it was stated that my BLOGS were a bit soft and lacked my political opinions and reflections....So, you here ya go..
Social Class- Is there an American Dream?
I must admit that Karl Marx captivated my attention with the statement that” economic conditions first transformed the mass of the mass of the people of the country into workers.”  It would seem only natural that from these workers, in a modern society, an existence of classes would form based upon the economics of the laborers.  And further leads me to suggest that any conflict or disparities between these classes would constitute the government or the “proletariat” to mediate, control and resolve any difference to maintain economic stability and perpetuate economic growth for the society or nation.  What or who gains from an unbalanced, class feuding society?  Creating such economic threat stirs a pot of disaster between the classes requiring a social movement just to encourage the working class that the notion of the pursuit of happiness pertains to them.  DejaVu, ya think?  Is there an American Dream?  Is there any truth to the premise that a capitalistic society could be replaced by a socialistic society that could form a communistic society?
If the American Dream cannot be realized by the working class, how does the student become the teacher or how does the renter become the landlord?  What a frightening nightmare if there is no longer a dream, but a well-executed plan designed by the capitalist to maintain the status quo by increasing their wealth using a slavery concept to control the working class, the new slaves.  What causes class chaos?  Is the exploitation of these classes that pose the real threat or the notion of becoming the modern day slave?  What is interesting is that the capitalist are unable to own the labor of the worker, however, they are in control of the wages of the labor of the worker.  What a HUGE, designed error, in my opinion. The entire dilemma would be reversed if the workers had control of the cost of their labor, but so sure that is not the goal of the capitalist. Somehow, the greedy capitalist should make the compromise to enable balance, and stability creating a win, win for all.  Could this define the exploitation of class of when wages do not meet the challenging cost of living and the surplus of goods are not being purchased?  The society as a whole benefits when the relational measure of a class grows which ensures the economic growth of the society which then sustains the nation. The capitalist will reap the benefits of shared revenue with that laborer and have the laborers to build and to create with the desire of fulfilling the American Dream.  That is how to motivate your laborer remember the dream and remind them of the dream.  Tick tock as the surplus grows because the working class cannot afford to reinvest by purchasing goods and services.
Is there any truth to the premise that a capitalist society could be replaced by a socialistic society that could form a communistic society?  Is that the fear that plagued me years ago to not to agree with any Marxism theory because you would then be considered a communist?  Who wants to live under a dictatorship?  Who wants to be told what to do?  Wake UP!  It is like I am reading Karl Marx for the first time or could it be that T. S. Eliot’s, “The Waste Land” ….”We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started”…..And, that is definitely not the American Dream of the Negro!  Will it be the fear of the capitalist that cause the demise of a nation because the American Dream dare not be shared?  Creating such economic threat stirs a pot of disaster between the classes requiring a social movement just to encourage the working class that the notion of the pursuit of happiness pertains to them.
